We couldn’t do it without you!  The Chiricahua Gallery is now open on Saturdays and Sundays.  We are in need of volunteer Hosts.  With additional Hosts, we could be open on Fridays, as well.

The Chiricahua Gallery is staffed by volunteers who are instrumental in keeping our doors open.  Hosts have great fun meeting and greeting visitors, helping with purchases and answering visitors’ questions.  Hosts volunteer one day per month, from 10:00 – 4:00 and are responsible for opening and closing the Gallery, balancing the cash drawer and completing the day’s paper work.  If you live here part-time, that’s okay; we could use your help when you’re here.

Some of the benefits of being a Chiricahua Gallery Host:

  • Receive a complimentary Associate Membership (a $25 value)
  • Meet, greet and help customers as they visit the Gallery and answer questions about our artists, the Gallery and the region
  • Join a group of amazing volunteers
  • Support our local community

If you would like to donate your time and your help, please contact our Scheduling Chair, Jackie Lewis, at 558.2287, or contact us at chiricahuagallery@gmail.com.  Thank you!

The Chiricahua Gallery supports local and regional artists, provides scholarships for local students, is a designated New Mexico Historic and Cultural Site and recently celebrated its 34th anniversary.

Covid-safe practices in place inside the Gallery:

  • All visitors are asked to wear a mask while in the Gallery and not allowed entry without a mask.  Masks are provided as needed.  To comply with the Governor of New Mexico’s order, masks are required in New Mexico.
  • Use hand sanitizer upon entry and during your visit (provided by Gallery).
  • Practice social distancing by keeping at least 6 feet apart.
  • Limit of 9 people allowed at one time inside the Gallery (operating at 25% capacity).
  • Plexiglas barrier utilized at front desk.
  • Signature-free credit card purchases.
  • Public and shared areas are sanitized before, during and after each open/close.  Since bleach and sanitizers will harm artwork, please note that artwork on display will not be sanitized.
